Agave NeoMexicana (Agave Parryi v.)

This variety is native to southeastern New Mexico and west Texas, growing on rocky limestone slopes from 1400 to 7000 feet in elevation. In low deserts, plant it in part sun and provide good drainage. It can handle full sun exposures at higher elevations. This agave will need some additional moisture in heat of summer.

Chaste Tree (Vitex Agnus-Castus)

Known as a fragrant, showy large shrub, Vitex offers vibrant color to any landscape. Often used in a border or as a small tree accent.

Texas Mountain Laurel (Dermatophyllum secundiflorum)

Texas mountain laurel is a tough evergreen shrub or small tree native to Mexico and the American Southwest. It is known for its attractive, fragrant flowers and its extreme drought hardiness. Native to the Chihuahuan Desert.

Prairie Flame-Leaf Sumac (Rhus lanceolata)
